  1. The Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association at the 2008 MCLA Championships

    • University of Michigan Wolverines win MCLA Div 1 Championship
      The undefeated (20-0) Michigan Wolversines defeated the Chapman Panthers 14 - 11 to become the first MCLA team to finish the season undefeated. Coach John Paul has been at the helm of the Wolverines for 11 years.

    • Grand Valley State - 2nd best in MCLA Div II
      Grand Valley State University Flyers
      came out second best to the Westminster College Griffins, going down to the eventual Champions 17 - 10. While the win was disappointing it didn't detract from the great season the Flyers had in 2008.

    • Wolverines John Paul wins Div I Coach of the Year award
      While winning the Div I Championship was the goal of all concerned, Wolvering Head Coach John Paul capped off a great season by also being chosen as the Division 1 MCLA Coach of the Year. Congrats JP!!

    Saline, Mich. (May 4, 2008) - The #1 University of Michigan men’s lacrosse team captured their eighth CCLA Conference Championship on Sunday (May 4), defeating #25 Michigan State by a score of 21-5 in Saline, Michigan at Saline High School. - [more...]

    Grand Valley State University defeats Dayton 16 - 13 to win their first ever CCLA Division 2 Championship. Offensive Tournament MVP - Chris Idema and GVSU Defensive Tournament MVP - Curtis Meyer were instrumental in guiding the Lakers to the Championship.
